four stars Mountain Hotel

During my fourth year at the architecture university, I had the exciting opportunity to design a 4-star hotel located on the edge of a mountain. This project presented a unique challenge, as I had to consider the mountainous terrain and how to create a design that would be both functional and visually appealing.

To start, I conducted extensive research on hotel design and mountainous landscapes, looking for inspiration to incorporate into my design. I also considered factors such as accessibility, safety, and comfort for guests, as well as the building's structural integrity.

One of the biggest challenges was integrating the hotel into the surrounding landscape while still providing guests with stunning views of the mountains. To achieve this, I played with different angles and orientations to find the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.

The hotel's design also included various amenities, such as restaurants, lounges, and a spa, each designed to take advantage of the incredible views of the mountainous surroundings. Additionally, I incorporated features such as energy-efficient systems and sustainable materials to make the building eco-friendlier.

Throughout the project, I collaborated with my peers and professors, presenting my design to the class for feedback and evaluation. This experience helped me to develop critical thinking and communication skills, as well as a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in designing a building in a challenging landscape.

In the end, I was proud to have created a functional and visually striking 4-star hotel on the edge of a mountain, incorporating elements of sustainability, energy efficiency, and luxury.
